The Galactic Protectorate

Headquartered on the terraformed planet of Mars in the Sol System, the Galactic Protectorate is the first organized protective and scientific force in the known galaxy — established after an attempted invasion by the "cloudforms" in the Crab Nebula.

Earth was the second planet to join. The Martian colonies were the first to organize.
